We are currently recruiting Examiners based in the UK to examine our suite of communication, performance, musical theatre and Shakespeare examinations.

You must hold a recognised teaching qualification or equivalent, and/or a Master’s Degree in a performance related subject. You must also have a minimum of two years’ experience of teaching the LAMDA syllabi. We are also looking for candidates with five years teaching experience in Communication/Speech/English Language and Drama subjects.

The Role

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and focused Assistant Systems Accountant will be part of the Finance Department, and based within the Examinations department, which is a large and growing business area, currently at +£5m annual turnover. As Assistant Systems Accountant, you will have a dual focus on system and process development as well as overseeing the income, costs and debtors of the Examinations department and for line managing the Finance Assistant.

This for a part qualified accountant with strong experience and skills in systems development, ideally gained within a fast-paced office environment. Support to progress to qualified status may be available.

The successful applicant will be motivated by the dual focus of improving business processes and IT systems, and leading and overseeing all of the financial aspects. There will be an opportunity to discuss potential support for completion of professional accountancy qualification, and ongoing training for systems development, such as Agile, during performance management reviews with the Director of Finance.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Academy for Head of Screen, Audio, Digital Performance and Innovation.  This is a key student-facing role in the Drama School and we are seeking for a creative and progressive individual with an outstanding artistic and pedagogical track record, and a passion for developing and empowering the next generation of artists in screen, audio and digital performance.  

You will be the School's professional lead for Screen, Audio, and Digital training, liaising closely with the Director, Head of Actor Training, Head of Technical Training and Course Leaders to grow digital image content across LAMDA training, and ensure that screen, audio and digital projects and productions across the courses maximise the potential of acting students and reflect the latest in industry practice, whilst reflecting LAMDA's values. 

You will drive innovation in the screen, audio and digital area. With exemplary leadership, influencing and communication skills, you will have proven teaching and curriculum development experience in a conservatoire setting.

As the Lead Practitioner, you will ensure that the practice keeps pace with current industry practice. 

You will have extensive and demonstrable experience in a pedagogical and or industry context and practice in one or more drama school disciplines including that of acting.

With excellent communication and analytical skills, you will have the ability to create and maintain an inclusive and safelearning environment for all students.

We are seeking a creative, driven and self-motivated individual to lead the planning, development and delivery of our MFA in Professional Acting and MA Directing.

You will have demonstrable experience of delivering teaching and/or training with national/international profile as an industry practitioner or pedagogue.  In addition, you will have extensive breadth and depth of specialist knowledge, contemporary professional application and understanding in the discipline underpinned by theoretical/ academic knowledge or relevant practical experience. 

With outstanding communication and analytical skills, you will have proven experience in solving problems which may arise within learning situations.
